SPECTATORS
Spectators are welcome to attend and must follow common golf etiquette guidelines: (1) walk at all times — spectator carts are not permitted (see below for the disabled spectator exception), (2) stay in the rough "outside the ropes," walking with or ahead of the group, (3) maintain a reasonable distance (at least 20 yards) from players, and (4) do not give players advice - doing so could result in a penalty to the player. Spectators who repeatedly violate the NYSGA's Spectator Policy may be asked to leave the property.
CARTS FOR DISABLED SPECTATORS
Disabled spectators may receive permission to use a golf cart but only if approved by the NYSGA. To ensure that each case is reviewed properly and special carts can be rented and reserved for disabled spectators, it is required that the following process be completed by June 27, 2026:
- Complete the NYSGA Golf Cart Request Form.
- The NYSGA will review and contact the spectator with a decision.
- Approved spectators must check-in at the pro shop and follow all cart rules to avoid disrupting play.
